Sizing is tough, forget your dress suit size, it has nothing to do with how a set of leathers will fit. You can count on probably wearing a suit at least two sizes bigger than your jacket, so don't get you feelings hurt.

Just some rough guidelines:  One of the complicating factors is the wider the waist, the less height the suit can make up as the leather spreads. I've seen a guy 6'3" fit into a suit I couldn't dream of zipping. I've seen another guy 6'3" barely squeeze into a 56, but he probably had 100lbs on the first guy. Back length and waist are pretty critical. If you get close in your guess, we can get you on the track...might be a little big, but we'll get you there.

If you've worn a wetsuit, that's how leathers should fit, minus the stretch. They aren't designed for comfort or dancing, and they need to be as snug as possible without being uncomfortable.
